The Courtyard The courtyard is more of a social area. When the warm weather really sets in, the students will sometimes bring their lunches outside and sit at the picnic tables scattered about the area. The courtyards are thriving with life ranging from the prettiest flowers and a few trees to the smallest insects that you can't see. Moderator: Head of Administration |

The Forbidden Forest The Forbidden Forest is located on the far north side of the grounds. The forest is lurking with many different creatures--both good and bad. It is advised that you not enter the Forbidden Forest, especially after dark. If you are caught here, expect heavy punishment. Moderator: Head of Administration |

The Lawns This is the main part of the grounds of Hogwarts. The lawns consist of nothing but the grass, a few flowers here and there, and maybe one or two tree situated somewhere around the middle of the grounds. Moderator: Head of Administration |

The Whomping Willow The Whomping Willow is situated about three-hundred feet from the castle. The tree was once used as a passage way from the grounds of Hogwarts to Hogsmeade in the Shrieking Shack. The tree is large and has very strong and violent branches. Don't get too close or you'll get whomped! Moderator: Head of Administration |
