Short Description:
Vincent is tall, six feet and one inch to be precise. He likes to wear black a lot and will usually wear a red cloak over his black outfit. His eyes are now crimson red from being inflicted with vampirism. His hair is a very dark charcoal color. His skin is very pale. Though he can walk in the sun now it seems he will never be able to tan again. When he's ready to feed his fangs are apparent, however, during normal living his fangs are shortened and can pass for regular canines.
Family History:
Before he was a vampire, Vincent was a pure blooded wizard of a wealthy family. During that time he was found to be a little bit of a snob and sometimes mean. When Vincent was young he had been tutored in both the new and the old ways of magic. He had learned wand work and also about the elements that were used in ancient times. As he grew, magic came to him easier and he quickly improved. He could control all the elements to a degree, but fire became the hardest to control. As he grew into a young adult, he began to practice his wand work more and his elemental skills grew feebler. He could still use them in the end, his control was just weak.
When he was twenty-seven years old vampires attacked his estate. Most of the property Vincent had owned was destroyed and he was turned into a vampire, leaving him with nothing to have or to hold dear to him. For a while he had hunted animals to survive. However, when he found that people rejected him, he went after them next out of anger and spite. After a few years, his anger cooled and he slowly began to regret his actions. So, with that change in heart, he switched back to animal blood.
Looking around the country for an end to his curse, he found something that may help ease his pain. An ancient woman had found a way to help vampires walk in the sunlight. However, it could not be taken from her by force. Vincent had stumbled upon her one night and she struck a bargain with him using an unbreakable vow. He was allowed to use her discovery as long as he did not take any human lives or change any humans, unless it was for a good cause, while he fed. In all it meant no attacking humans for blood. To this he agreed, knowing he could handle this feat.
Vincent had gone to England for a short while, knowing that there was all kinds of magical advancements happening there. He went to Diagon Alley first, glancing from one magical shop to another. There were some things that he hadn't seen before, but after a short examination of them he could identify them with similar objects he had seen. After a few more stops around the shops, Vincent decided that perhaps he should go back to Japan but something stopped him.
Vincent met a young witch by the name of Tsukiyo Tasogare and married her. She had been the kindest person to him, and he fell in love with her soon after their first meeting. Tsukiyo had managed to look past his curse, to love him for who he was and not care that he was a vampire. However, her family was very much against their marriage because he was a vampire. Her family was pure blood, but though he was a pure blood from Japan, they did not want him tainting their bloodline with his curse. They would often tell Tsukiyo how it would have been fine if he weren't a vampire, but after that was said she would storm off in anger. So, instead of abandoning Vincent for her family, Tsukiyo married him.
Early in their marriage they had a child, a girl named Kaihi. However, Tsukiyo died shortly after the child was born. Vincent, distraught by grief for his wife, decided to leave the child in her great aunt's care, finding himself incapable of raising a child with such a mind. He believed himself to be unfit and decidedly went out to travel once again. For a long time he couldn't ever get over the loss of his wife, but he managed to live on. When he found that his daughter began to appear in his mind, he began to regret leaving her for his own selfish reasons, however, being gone from her for all her life made him afraid to face her in fear of rejection that he couldn't handle right then and there.
Instead, he moved nearby Hogwarts, just so he could keep and eye on his daughter and look out for her. Even if he wasn't there for her during her life, he would try to be with her now. But until he could ask her for forgiveness, he would have to settle with watching her from afar.
