Alright so it's true. We are going to be taking Head Boy, Head Girl, and a prefect from both genders There are a lot of eligable people on the site, so I know it'll be a very hard decision. The following positions are open (if you previously held a position, fill out an application and for reason why, say because you were last term): Gryffindor Prefect (Male and Female) Hufflepuff Prefect (Male and Female) Ravenclaw Prefect (Male and Female) Slytherin Prefect (Male and Female) Head Boy Head Girl Please note the following while applying: 1. You MUST be active and get on everyday. This also includes posting everyday and as frequent as possible. 2. You MUST remain active on the site or else you lose the position. 3. You must NOT abuse the privilege of being Prefect or Head of House. 4. You may not have two of your characters being prefect and/or head of houses, even if they are in different houses. It is unfair. (For instance: Marc cannot have Tyler Tyson apply for Hufflepuff Prefect and then Hunter Hyppolito for Slytherin.) 5. You must also be willing, helpful and creative in helping Magical Purpose in anyway possible. 6. To be a Head, you must be in the 7th year, and to be a prefect, you must be 5-7th year. *** Below is the application for both Head Boy/Girl and Prefect. Please fill it out in whole and to the best of your abillity. Name: Position Wanted: Reason Why:
Thank you -Hogwarts Staff

Post by Sophia Renee o'Reilly on Oct 1, 2008 20:43:06 GMT -5
Yeah, so I just wrote all this and forgot that the year limit was 5-7th for Prefect. When Abby became Prefect she was only a first year so I kind of spaced on that one. Haha! Ignore this, I just wanted to post it because I took the time to write it anyway. Name: Sophia Renee o'Reilly. Position Wanted: Ravenclaw female Prefect. Reason Why: Although she has never had a position quite like it before, Sophia is the sort of girl that takes anything seriously. She is headstrong and determined to do whatever it takes to make others aware that she is a responsible young lady. She's very ambitious and goal-oriented and she knows what her dreams are and how to reach them. Sophia has never been the sort of girl to just give up on something easily, which is why she would make a very good, loyal Prefect of Hogwarts. She's a natural-born leader, though has never gotten a chance to show it. Though she may not have many friends yet, this is a good chance for her to show everyone that she is serious about something and that she is able to control students of her own house without befriending them. That way she wouldn't be biased. Though she is expected to make friends by the end of her journey at Hogwarts, this is also a good opportunity for her to meet and make those companions.
Ever since she was little Sophia has been a loner, but not by choice. During this time she had become great friends with her mother, who was a great inspiration to her. The woman was a secretary at a post office in her home in Ireland. Though her job paid very little, Sophia watched her mother become successful from just a little job such as working at a desk in a small building in a small town. From her mother Sophia has learned more than she had in any school facility. Julia o'Reilly never babied her daughter and let her see the harsh reality of life and what would be the greatest outcome for her daughter. She always believed in Sophia and knew that she was the sort of girl to reach her dreams if she believed enough. Because of this close relationship with an adult, even if it was her mother, Sophia has seen what the real world is like and she knows what is expected from her. She knows all about responsibility, for she has had to take care of their home when her mother is at work. Some would say that Sophia grew up faster than she should have, but many would contradict that and say she is on the right path to success.
Despite all of this, Sophia is mainly known for her kind attitude toward anyone and anything that needs her. Though she has been wronged in the past, she is not the sort of person that would wrong others because of it. She follows the rules and would never dream of favoring someone. She is a strong believer in rules and responsibility. Overall, she's a leader, mature, and a very responsible eleven year old.

Name: Vivelle Alexis Raysen Position Wanted: Well, a prefect would do, but a higher position would be great :] Reason Why: Vivelle may be slightly clumy, but she still is responsible. She had never gotten in a fight with anyone at Hogwarts and never insulted anyone at all. She has always been cheerful and happy, trying to keep other people's moods up with hers. Whenever someone is feeling down, she would start a casual conversation with them to try and get them to snap out of it. She hardly let's anything bother her, or ruin her day. She has never been insulted so far, well, at least not to the face, but even if she had been, she wouldn't let it get to her. Vivelle doesn't waste her time sitting around gossiping about other girls, instead, she would get some fresh air, or hang with her friends. She likes to have fun and she giggles alot to herself. Vivelle would appreciate very much if she's given the role of a prefect. She's not expecting to get the role of the Head Prefect but she's willing to try out for it anyway. She would be happy with whichever position she gets and she would carry out her duties responsibly and affectionately.
